The cottage is across two locks - you can sit in the front garden and watch the boats travel along the river and go through the locks, whilst still enjoying a view of Worcester Cathedral or you can enjoy the intimacy of the enclosed rear garden. The Island within a 1520 min walk of the Town Centre with a great shopping & restaurants, Worcester Cricket Club that has the 'Ashes Tour' and Worcester National Hunt Races all 10/15 minutes walk. Malvern, Hereford, Stratford pun Avon & the Cotswolds are all within easy reach. If you are a keen walker there are a variety of walks in the immediate vacinity as well as The Malvern Hills, The Cotswolds - including Brendon Hill, Cleeve Common and broadway to name but a few.
