Ellwood Cottages
About
Ellwood Cottages are in the North Dorset hamlet of Woolland, a short drive away from Blandford Forum in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a fossil's throw from the Jurassic coastline. The three tastefully furnished self-catering cottages, named after Dorset literary figures, Hardy, Barnes and Blyton, are in a courtyard setting in lovingly restored single storey former farm buildings full of character and charm. Adjacent to the cottages is a heated indoor splash-pool. A large recreation room offers free Wi-Fi, libraries for both children and adults, and a selection of games and toys. There is a therapy room next door where visiting therapists offer ‘pure-pampering’ – and no journey home afterwards! The cottages are fully accessible and all have two bedrooms sleeping three in Hardy, four in Barnes and four adults and two children in Blyton Cottage (single beds in all three cottages).Outside, the landscaped gardens have a seating area for each cottage and the views over farmland are stunning.
