About
Glastonbury Museum at the Tribunal is a community museum at the heart of Glastonbury’s High Street. Glastonbury Town Council and Glastonbury Antiquarian Society will be bringing the stories of Glastonbury’s town and people to life. Already housed in the late 15th-century stone merchant’s house is the Glastonbury Lake Village collection. This collection presents an insight into everyday life in an Iron Age settlement when much of Somerset’s landscape was covered by wetlands. Also of note is the Saxon-dated Godney canoe (6th to 7th century CE).
