Church Byres is a recently converted 100 year old barn full of character including original beams and large, log fireplaces, situated on the edge of a quiet village one mile from the A303 and overlooking open countryside. The interior has been furnished to the highest standard. Guests have use of the large sitting room and gardens, and are served a full English breakfast while enjoying the views from the French windows. Wireless broadband internet is available to guests. The village of South Barrow is between Wincanton, Yeovil and Sherborne. It is ideally placed for exploring the South Somerset/Dorset area and is just one hour from the World Heritage Jurassic coast. Nearby is the historic town of Sherborne, famous for its Abbey. The surrounding rolling countryside includes views of the ancient site of Camelot – reputedly the fortress of King Arthur.
