Sleepers is a three star family run 1930's guest house located approx 1.8 Miles from York Minister 5 minutes in a car and on high frequency public transport.The Guest house has been refurbished and offers friendly and safe accommodation with pleasant en suite rooms. We provide free parking, free wifi and have a non smoking policy through out the guest house.All rooms have an iron and ironing board, fan, hair drier, a full hospitality tray with tea/ coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and water. The compact en-suite shower rooms have towels and toiletries provided. Our prices are based on a room rate and include breakfast from our extensive menu,taken in our dining room.See the full menu on our website. Sleepers is ideal for families with children over 5, couples, single people, business and commercial guests.We welcome everyone. Three of our spacious rooms can accommodate a child. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you are a larger family. We are not at this present time licensed to sell alcohol, but we are happy for our guests to bring in their own drinks (there is a small supermarket close by) and relax in their rooms. We always have a supply of glasses and and will happily keep your drinks chilled. All our guest rooms are situated on the first floor.Unfortunately we do not have a lift and our rooms cannot accommodate wheelchairs. Local amenities In walking distance there are two good local pubs offering good menus,a sports bar and just 5 minutes drive away is Clifton moor with a multi screen cinema, heath and fitness facility, ten pin bowling and several pubs and restaurants "Warm welcome for all"
